Colonia Verde is a hidden gem in Fort Greene from the team behind Cómodo, offering a cozy Latin American escape. Its lush patio and intimate dining room make it perfect for summer dinners or wine-filled dates. We started with the smoky El Mescalero cocktail and a daily special, followed by the vibrant Trout Ceviche Tostada and Crispy Pork Belly in Salsa Verde. For mains, the Poblano Pepper Pasta and grass-fed Picanha steak with farofa stood out. We ended the evening with their signature Gueroni and warm churros. Every dish was bold, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared in a welcoming space.
